There will also be a Task Force to help track down and help fix the causes of any script breakage found on the test rollout of Phlox. Breakage can include any known incompatibilities between engines up to and including bugs found in the Phlox engine after the rollout.
This task force will also provide alternative script implementations for simple scripts that may break for which there is no longer any source access for.

One Region still available...

Phlox Test at Welcome center!
Tonight we tested Phlox on our 11k+ prim welcome center with everyone wearing AOs, their favorite tiny avatars, even a unicycle. The results were awesome. We were all able to move around, chat, dance and have an awful lot of fun for over 40 minutes while other avatars were coming and going. We got to 67 avatars having fun on our welcome center with much overhead available to have even more people stop by. It should also be noted that this is an unoptimized build for debugging.
Eventually we hit a network timeout calling into a grid service that took down the region. We’re taking a look at the stack trace and determining how to mitigate the problem.
Thousands of scripts running and the only lag we had on the region was when we had a couple avatars teleporting into the region, and on the client. This demonstrates the reason we took on this project and why it was so important. Being together is so important and we want to make sure everyone can gather with their friends and enjoy their world. No clouds required.

Full Circle!
Things seem to have turned a full circle for us at the moment, having been able to offload the 27 Regions, we had with our Tenents kept safely with the new owners, we now find ourselves renting a 1/4 sim on Genesis, right where we began... We had that region renamed a long while ago, but it is probably one of the 1st private regions there ever was in IW, its where we had our home when we 1st got together & where we built our store... that is now on our Home Region, Scorpio, but we wanted the 1/4 region for the Prefabs he has done, he built a lot for our R/P regions, so now he will place those out for sale at our prefab store on Genesis. Also keeping Divine Intuition going on Pisces, which was another old region of ours we had renamed. so yes it feels like we have come full circle... smiles.

Back to Creating!
Well as some of you may have read on the Forums GJCR Rentals is having to close its doors! :(
So what does that really mean for our Future?
It means that due to ill Health, and for the present time, Gaius will no longer be able to spend a lot of Hours on the grid as he used too & when he is able to we would be better served spending that precious time together doing what we like to do & just enjoying all IW has to offer, without the added stress that came with running a rental business. As much as we both enjoyed it, it was very stressful at times & always time consuming which didnt leave us a lot of time for much of anything else.
We both love to create & that sort of went on the back boiler a bit as our Business grew, so now we can spend some time getting back to creating. You will always see us both on the grid together, but mostly early mornings it is just I with both avatars logged in, I try to get most of my work done while he is sleeping so when he wakes up we can have time together & just enjoy that time, for however long we can do.
In the past we have had our work, pulled apart, disected & sometimes cruely ridiculed because some residents felt a resentment towards us for whatever their reasoning. It never stopped us from creating though & never will do because its what we both enjoy doing, myself especially so... I do so because i need to feel productive in a way i cannot any longer in the real world.
We may no longer 'fit in' with the world that is emerging in IW, but it will never stop us from being there or supporting it all we can do, as we have always done... no one can ever say we did not fully support IW or its Founders. Nor will it stop me from telling it like it is, thats just me ;)
At the moment I am trying to catch up on designs i had done but never had time to get out because of all the work we had to do to keep up with the rentals. We have so many things incomplete, which we will now have time to complete & get out there. At the moment I am enjoying doing more landscaping & hope to bring you a lot more new & Hopefully inventive creations.
We will still have our Divine Intuition space over on Pisces & we hope to do a lot more with that & the blog that goes with it... also the fashion blog, were always out shopping & he is always buying me new outfits... he spoils me... smiles. I hope to get some work done on that soon & make it what i intended... a review of all IW Creations & Creators.
So hopefully too I will be posting more here ;)

2 Year rez day!
Wow 2yrs already!
Yes today I am 2yrs old in InWorldz... I think I might be the oldest resident now too... oh apart from Ele & legion of course who are both just ancient in here
Thought I might share a little bit of History with you
Well I came at the Invitation of one of the now retired Founders... Lecktor. I had just left the disastrous OLG & was seeking another 'new World' I had already joined LCO & was enjoying that but.... then I came to IW & I have never looked back since!
Thats me a few days in after fixing myself up a wee bit
There were no Mentors then, infact i came in to an empty grid as i am in UK & they were all sleeping haha I suppose I am fortunate being a creator myself I was soon able to upload my stuff & make myself look halfway decent. Back then the Mainland was on a free to build for all & i well took advantage of that! I fell in love with the middle Region Cactus Flats, mainly because it was the only Flat region on the mainland, all the others had mountains back then. They didnt last long though, ele didnt like the mountains I soon began building...

It took me all of 14 days to build up that store & come to the decision to purchase that piece of land on April 26th I proudly took possession of cactus Flats & my store was born...

Back then I spent every waking moment being mostly in IW, but I also still had my business to run in SL, I had already sold my land there & was only renting, but I still needed to spend sometime there, didnt I? Well that time became less & less as I came to Love IW more & more.... loving all the work being done to make things good, all the features & the glitches of which there were many lol

Up till then I had slowly been building up my 'stock' from scratch as i didnt have SI, but then someone posted about a new viewer that could copy your rezzed items in sl ? What! well this i did with abandon!
I had never seen anything like this before & meerkat became my new toy! I loved it! sadly it died, but it was fun while it lasted!

A lot of us from the OLG came here with great expectations, but also sadly feeling a little deflated & obviously Cautious! I began to see old friends here... Onyx (Gaius) came April 22nd, also Mouser, Blad, Mortus, the smarts & a few others who have since left. Onyx had SI & began bringing in some things for me that you just couldnt get with meerkat, animations, sounds to make the chairs & birds come to life... oohhh I could model too now. I already had an AO, leck had given me one, but now with my animations i could make my own
Each day that passed seem to bring us something new, Ele fixing the classifieds, bringing us a currency, all done without any pre warning i might add... when ele gets a bee in her bonnet... well just look out haha

A few of us Residents were working on the welcome area at IDI, it was a Roman theme back then... more & more new Residents were coming in, being on IDI we could catch them. Then Ele created the Mentors Group & I was very proud to have been asked to become a Mentor...

back then we had an alert... Ele would see them coming... 'quick everyone to IDI' and we would bundle over & do what we could to help. I loved being a Mentor, but time began to run away with me as my life here took a turn for the better & I partnered with Gaius, my dear friend, who, as Onyx, the Gorean warrior had, had me running for the hills! haha but thats another story

Invitation to ALL Creators...
greetings one & all....
Not long ago it was mentioned here by one of our residents about an Art Fest... well we sort of liked the sound of that, but as we both 'feel' All Creators in VW's are sort of Artists... we thought we would make this a Creators fest
We have a Region were willing to donate to the cause for a couple of months... we figured a Month for creators to build what they want within the set theme... then a Month or so for it to be displayed & viewed...
We were thinking of maybe having around 16 x 4096 sized plots which would give creators a good proportion of prims to play with ... However that means only 16 creators could claim the free plots, but if this proves successful & popular... we might keep on doing it lol
Were just really putting the feelers out there for any interested in doing this, we thought to invite photographers & machnomeners... or whatever they are called... to come along & capture it all.
I was thinking of maybe having Fantasy as the theme as then you can really let your imaginations run wild, but that would be put to an open vote....
Anyway let us have your thoughts if you could do...
