We are hearing from Merchants nearly all the time about 'no Sales' yet were not seeing nothing fresh from these merchants, no updates to their creations, just the same stuff they put in Months ago. Even in SL we always kept bringing out new designs, its why we have so many lol. In there i felt pressured to bring out new releases upto 3 times a week in IW I have never felt that need, yet we still bring out New Releases as much as we can do, there is nearly always something new & fresh to bring visitors to our store...
Just like in RL a merchant needs to keep things fresh.... New releases are one way of doing that. You also need to advertise. now the Inworldz Classifieds is not the best, it needs sorting out, but there is nothing to stop a Merchant from posting to the classifieds on the forums, thats where we go to find things & where we tell every new resident to go to for any info.
So if your not getting any sales try looking at your merchandise, is it the same as its always been? Have you brought out anything new recently? Are you advertising?
It isnt a question of 'we will build it they will come' You have to show that you are there, you are available... to answer customer questions. Stocking up a store, then just leaving it for months on end with nothing fresh going on there & nothing new to the eye, is not going to keep the customers coming back to your store, they may have bought what you have already so what else is there to buy?
So if you really want to make it in any world, you have to put in the work & the effort.
